Neuroscience Clerkship Evaluations

Student evaluations are based on the following:

  1. Final examination 40%
  2. Preceptor evaluation 48%
  3. Quizzes and Problem Based Learning 12%

Grading Scale

Pass >65%
Fail <65%

Students who do not obtain a passing grade will be afforded the opportunity to repeat the examination.

The student's evaluation of the clerkship will be included in the Orientation packet and turned in on the day of the final exam. Specific concerns will be brought to the attention of the clerkship director.

Preceptors are to provide ongoing feedback to the students and discuss their performance before the end of the rotation, while completing an evaluation of the student to be mailed back to the department.
